"Advanced"- Menu and Settings in Music Converter

    Hi,

I have a bunch of flac- audiofiles, which I want to convert to mp3 VBR Quality -V 0. The files have different resolution. It varies from 16-bit/44.1kHz up to 24-bit/192000kHz. The converter has a field "Advanced" with different settings. Do I have to use the field "Frequency" to downsample the HRA- files (if yes, which Frequency) or should I just leave it as source?

I would use a DSP effect 'Resample' set to a maximum of 48KHz (which mp3 only supports).

Bit depth is fine, mp3 can accept 24 bits input.

      Hi Spoon,

thank you very much for yout advice! Would you advise to do it in one step or in two steps (first step down to flac - either 44.1 or 48 kHz) and second step to mp3?
