Apply dsp effects w/o encoding?

Can I just apply dsp effects w/o encording? Files are already encoded.

Ok, I just want to apply gain or normalize. Can I do that?

Think i figured it out. Selected multi encoder and did not add any encoders.

I don't think so. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Normalize is destructive, so encoding has to occur.

If your DAP supports ReplayGain, you can install the ReplayGain utility codec, use it and no encoding occurs.
