DR values scan - any plans of adding this feature?

Was wondering if there are any plans of adding a DR scanning feature in either CD ripper or the Converter?

By DR values you mean the dynamic range? If so, you can deduce the dynamic range by the track or album based replay gain values.

Hi dat, yes that&*8217;s right. How can I deduce that from the replay gain? Do I have to apply that with every rip? Dont use replay gain in my files.

If you use the DSP "Replay Gain" which is not destructive and only writtes tags, you get values for the Album and track gain.

Ah ok. Is that value the same as the official DR value or a replay gain value?

Probably not the same. If you by "official" mean the value at http://dr.loudness-war.info/ they have two programs/algorithms for download with differing values, so I assume that the replay gain algorithm also is different.
