Mac/PC Family Pack License Question

I use both a Mac and two PC's all regularly. I see the family pack allows for up to 5 computers and shows both PC and Mac available. Does it mean simultaneously? Or will the family pack only cover 5 PC's and no Mac's and vice versa? I think it means simultaneously but just want to make sure before I buy.

It is 5 licenses, so could be:

3 PC and 2 Mac
