    wav to ogg conversion

Ok, I jumped the gun and sent an e-mail first...sorry.
I'm running Windows 98, dmc version 8d and ogg release 6. I've also downloaded & installed MS patches.
I searched your forum and can't find a resolution.

When I attempt to save the converted file I get, "This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."

The following text is the details:

MUSICCONVERTER caused an invalid page fault in
    module OGG VORBIS.DLL at 016f:015a7802.

I have had a very small number of issues reported about ogg crashing, at this time I am unsure what is causing it. Is it possible for you to try different bitrates / frequencies on the ogg selection page? Also if possible try a different computer.

Thank you very much Spoon, life is good again! I ended up changing the frequency, after which, I played around with bitrates. Changing the frequency seems to have eliminated the problem.

I have the memory of a goldfish at the moment, I fixed this very bug a short while ago, check out the Ogg Vorbis Codec in the Beta section of this forum.
