Re: dbpoweramp will not convert bitrate
I am running Win7 pro. I am trying to convert mp3's from 320 bitrate to 128 bitrate. There is no error message. The file just stays at 320 bitrate. I have already allowed dbpoweramp through the windows firewall and my AV.Comment

Re: dbpoweramp will not convert bitrate
The source files are in a folder on an external drive called unfinished downloads. This is the same drive where all my music is located. There is a separate folder for every artist, but I don't move them to the artist's folder until they're edited. i.e. renamed, tagged, converted and sometimes cleaned for quality.Comment

You have any DSP effects? such as conditional encode?Comment

Re: dbpoweramp will not convert bitrate
Run dBpoweramp Control Center >> Configuration 'Advanced Settings' and scroll to the end and enable the Debug option. Convert 1 file and post the results from the log at the end (they will show in notepad after conversion).Comment

Re: dbpoweramp will not convert bitrate
"Encoder Settings: Constant Bit Rate 320 kbps (Free-Format)"
This says that the program thinks the options are set to 320kbps Free format, select the CBR option, not free format.Comment
