Time duration for converting a CD

    Hi everybody,

I have problems with the duration of converting.

I have to CD - the songs at both of them lasts about 60 minutes. One CD has the songs in 12 tracks, the other in 1 track.
The CD with one track needs 3:12 minutes to be converted.
The CD with 12 tracks needs 34:12 minutes to be converted (when I select all track at once).
When I select the 12tracks-CD track by track the converting time alltogether ist 3:40 minutes.

Why does the all-track-at-once-method last this long time?
    How can i fix this?

    greez and thanks in advance

The ripping speed is 1,1 - 2,0 when I select all tracks at once.
It ist 7 - 8 when I select just one track....

You would need to try a different brand of CD drive.
