    Slow conversion rates

    Hi,
I have been getting really slow rates ripping from CD to WMA at 192 bit rate. dBpoweramp starts out at around 16X, then drops to 1.5X, or sometimes to .5X. It takes 2-3 hrs. to rip one cd to my Rio. It hasn't always been this slow. It occurred after one or two updates ago. I use dBpowerAMP, Power pack, and Sveta. Any advice? Thanks.

Check on Options that the ripping speed is maximum, if still have a program, look at Support (above) >> CD Input there is a drive speed program you can download.

Windows Media Player rips to WMA from CD at the expected rate. Any other ideas?
