I've downloaded somehting - not saying where from for obvious reasons!! - but I only have the sound and no visuals. I get an error message which flits across the bottom of the Windows Media Player screen saying there is a problem with codec when it is requested so I reinstalled the latest one from Microsoft but that hasn't solved the problem. Desperate to see the episodes I've downloaded - does anyone have any advice to offer? Than k you.

Re: Audio only, no visual - HELP!
If it has a .AVI extension and you can't open it with Media Player, chances are it's encoded with the DivX codec, which is not a standard Microsoft codec. Go to http://www.divx.com/divx/ and look down the page where it says 'Standard DivX Codec(FREE)', this will install the codec without any ads.
