Converting a FLAC file to Mp3 on an Apple iPod

Is converting a FLAC file to Mp3 and onto an iPod possible using Converter. I have all my FLAC albums stored in a Windows system/NAS drive file. I use JRiver MC for data base and playback purposes.

dBpoweramp can convert FLAC to mp3, which can be loaded on the ipod.
