    freedb rejects submissions

Hi, I've been getting rejection messages on new albums I submit to freedb. Copy of the rejection message below. What can I do to fix the errors?

    Thanks.

    Here's the rejection email:

Note: Problems submitting via dBpowerAMP? - support@dbpoweramp.com

Your freedb submission was rejected for the following reason:

Invalid DB submission: disc ID generated from track offsets (b30dc30d) not found in DISCID

Please fix the problem before you resubmit it. Only the first
error in your submission was noted - there may be others. If you
continue to have trouble, it may be due to a bug in your CD
player software. If you suspect this, try acquiring a newer version.

    The rejected submission follows:

have gotten the exact same message... why does AudioCD input put 3D infront of all the info?...

Glad I'm not the only one!

The 3D is part of the 'quoted-printable' encoding in the mail. "=3D" is qp's way of encoding "=".

Looks like dBpowerAmp and freedb don't agreed on how to calculate the disc ID - dBpA has it as 'b40dc30d' and freedb as 'b30dc30d'...

Here's another one if it helps with the debugging...

Are the CDs you are having problems with extended versions? Do they have video tracks present?

Have you tried using another program to check what it calculates for the discid? CDpie is very useful especially as it enables easy checking/updating of the cdplayer.ini file, which is where dMC Audio CD Input stores information retrieved from freedb.

Are you using an offline database? is it the occasional CD or all CDs that fail?
