    new here

Hello, I'm a pretty techno savvy gal, but I can't seem to figure something out. My first problem was when I converted .cda files to mp3, they had jumps and/or skips in the playback. (Playing back on Real Player AND on the mp3 player.) So, then I saw the Sveta thingy, and I'm having a problem there that seems more difficult to fix than my first problem was. So, my question is- what am I doing wrong to make the skips and/or jumps? I don't mind having to wait to convert them and then put them on my mp3 player, but the music just isn't the same with all the skips and jumps. Can someone help??? Thank you in advance.

Instead of converting from the CDA files (I'm assuming you are using right-click/convert to on the file listing of the CD), try using Audio CD Input to encode your CDs to whatever format you choose.
