I purchase allot of albums from 7digital and Qobuz. When I try to retag these flac files by selecting them in finder and using the Edit Tags option, dbPoweramp isn't overwriting the existing tags but instead creating a duplicate set of the exact same tags.
I can confirm the above by running mp3tag on windows. I now see all the tag values twice. When I try to import these tracks into Roon it seems to default to the original uncorrected tags.
If I do the same process using the Windows version of dbpoweramp from my Windows 10 machine, the original tags get updated properly and it doesn't create a second exact set of tags. If the flac files were created with the dbPoweramp CD ripper on macOS in the first place they are fine and the original tags can be changed.
Peter let me know if you need any more information.
Thanks,
Jeff
