Thanks for the clarification and is what I originally understood. I just wanted to clear it up, as I have come across a few contradictions on the web, recently.

The specification for ID3v2.3 does not mention multi value tags anywhere. Certain programs use ' / ' which dBpoweramp also does (just tested artist1; artist2) and is written as 'artist 1 / artist 2' to id3 tag.Leave a comment:

Spoon or PeterP, are the following 2 sentences true?:
The ID3v2.3 specification allows support for multi-value tags. However, dBpoweramp only writes multi-value tags when using ID3v2.4.Tags: None
