    Conditional Encoding GUI is Blank

I have Win10 (Fall Creator's) and 16.3 Reference Edition. When I select Conditional Encoding a GUI window appears, but is completely blank except for the OK button.

I've tried restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling and nothing has made the GUI show.

It is likely you security software is blocking the conditional encode dll from loading.

I can confirm the behavior with Windows 10 Home 64-bit version 1709, 16.3 Reference, and ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The NOD32 blocked file log is empty; a scan of the Conditional Encode DLL reports no threats.

Interesting... I have no other security software other than what comes with Win10 (Defender). How do I exclude the dll in Defender?

(I tried adding the conditional encoding dll as an exclusion and turned off antivirus temporarily. I did not see any change.)

Try right-clicking on the Conditional Encoding DLL (in C:/Program Files/dBpoweramp/DSPs in a standard Windows 64-bit installation) and look for a "scan file" option in the popup menu. (On my PC it says, "Scan with ESET NOD32 Antivirus." On yours, it may say "Scan with Windows Defender" or something similar.) If you find the option, click on it. If it tests clean, then Defender likely isn't the problem. If it doesn't, you may have an option to whitelist it.

Yeah, I tried right-clicking. Scan with windows defender just scans the whole computer, not a single file.

I tried running as Admin, no change.

Any other ideas? I've looked at whitelisting, but can't find a place that allows the dll to be loaded.

I don't think it's Windows Defender. After all, I see the same behavior and NOD32 is clearly uninterested in the DLL. And we do get a dialog, albeit an empty one.

We both have the Fall Creators Windows update. I wonder if dBpa users who don't have it yet would see a populated dialog.
