Re: Windows is crasing when ripping
I have tryed to rip the same CD to wave and mp3. Ripping to wave was succesfull, but the process lasted no more than 5 minutes. The problem appears after about 20 minutes. The ripping to mp3 didn't succeed. As when ripping to OggVorbis the computer crashed after about 20 minutes.Originally posted by SpoonTry ripping to another format, such as wave.
After this I have installed the new release (number 10) and tryed to rip the same CD with OggVorbis, but the result is the same.
I am ripping to 160 Kbps and with variable bitrate and 44100 khz freguency, as recommended.
It seems to me that the computer is disturbed after 20 minutes, but I have no ideer what causes the disturbens.Comment

Re: Windows is crasing when ripping
I would guess that your CPU is overheating, try installing 'Sandra' ( from sci soft?) which will display the CPU temperature.Comment
