    Multi Encoder - Overwriting

Why is it mandatory to have all existing files overwritten when using the Multi-Encoder?
Is there any good reason why it doesn't prompt you to a "Do you want to overwrite these files?" box, like when you use the encoders seperately.
If it would do that, that would make it really easy to keep your devices synced, because you could just setup all formats you want as preset and would only have to hint it at the location.

    Edit:
Specifically, why doesn't the "Examining Source and owerwrite check" that otherwise occurs take place in that instance?

It is a limitation of multi-encoder. However if you are syncing multiple formats you are best with this:

Introducing TuneFUSION TuneFUSION's one purpose is the synchronization of audio, from your main library to a different device or location: Right now TuneFUSION can synchronize to: Foobar2000 mobile (1.1.18 needed or newer) Removable disk (such as flash disk for the car), Network Share FTP Later additions might add:

So, will Tune Fusion forever be free, will it be included in the basic dBpoweramp package or will it become a standalone product?

It will be stand alone, not sure on licensing at this stage.

          Re: Multi Encoder - Overwriting

It is a very niece piece of software(TuneFUSION), i have to confess

This limitation of the Multi-Encoder though seems to be staying for many Versions of dBPoweramp, i looked up some old screenshots, but making that "Do you want to overwrite?"-prompt appear or giving the user the possibilty to declare what the converter should do in the first place seems not the hardest thing to do, at least in comparison to the software itself.
Is there any chance that this limitation gets lifted in a future revision or that the multi-encoder receives some service?

It is not an easy fix, as Music Converter which shows the overwrite page has no access to the final filenames that multi-encoder creates.
