Convert video to mp3?

Hello. I have a video that is webm vp9 and audio is opus and a video that is mkv x264 and audio is opus. I try to open them, but dbpoweramp does not "see" mkv, and webm files in windows explorer. I renamed the extension and opened them but it can't convert them. Is there something I can do? Thank you for any answer.
*Also how can I use more than one core?

dBpoweramp cannot convert this file type.

Multi core is used if converting to a lossy format and you have the reference version of dBpoweramp.
