Error message when using DSP Effect Volume Normalize

    Hello,

i want to convert flac-songs into mp3-songs or aac-songs (to use it in my car).

For the process i try to use the DSP-Effect Volume Normalize,
but i always get this error message:

    convert to mp3:
Error converting to mp3 (Lame), 'D:\Temp\dBpoweramp\Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven.flac' to 'D:\Temp\dBpoweramp\Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven.mp3'
Error writing to temporary file, disk full?: [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

    convert to aac:
Error converting to m4a FDK (AAC), 'D:\Temp\dBpoweramp\Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven.flac' to 'D:\Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven.m4a'
Error writing to temporary file, disk full?: [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

Of course my disk is not full (operating system Windows 10 64bit)...

    Can anybody help me further?
Is this a bug in the plugin Volume Normalize?

    Best regards,
    Jochen

In windows file explorer, type the address:

    %tmp%

this is the location it tries to use. Does it exist, does the drive have > 1 GB of space?

      Yes sure, it exists.

This is the location where it tries to store the files:

      C:\Users\jochen\AppData\Local\Temp

And the free space is 786 GB...

Re: Error message when using DSP Effect Volume Normalize

Found my mistake, it works now...

In the dBpoweramp Control Center under Configuration/Advanced Settings,
under the chapter "When Converting"/Temporary Folder there was listed
        a non existing temporary folder...

i correctec it to an existing folder, and it works now...

the error message was not very helpful here to find the reason...
