dMC Audio CD Input forces stereo

I'm ripping audio books so I can listen to them on my MP3 player. When I rip using dBpowerAmp Music Converter I choose 24 kbps, 16K Hz and mono and that's what I get. But if I use dMC Audio CD Input, the results are 24 kpbs, 16K Hz, but stereo. The original isn't in stereo so I don't need the stereo. I'm using the Music Converter but the Audio CD is a nice quick interface that I'd rather use.

    I'm using the Lame codec.
    Thanks

make sure you have the latest dmc beta here: http://forum.dbpoweramp.com/showthread.php?t=2261

then from the rip/drop down menu select "rip with options(button right click)"

then after selecting the codec then select "channels" and "frequency" as source.

Thanks!! Somehow I completely missed the dropdown arrow next to the Rip button. That's what I needed. It works great now.
