Length_Split Codec installer not working...

Hi

I've just downloaded this codec and tried to install it, and I get an error message when I double click it, saying:

"This installation is corrupted, please obtain a new copy".

I re-downloaded and tried again but with the same result...

Is it broken is there something wrong with my system or with what I am doing?
