Hi all
I've got a few 320 CBR mp3s which are 48kHz and I want to convert them to 44.1kHz.
Is this the way to do it... Right click the file, choose Convert to, then in the convert dialogue choose the same format as the original with the same options as the original (i.e. mp3 CBR 320). If doing so, does that mean the converter will still convert from mp3 to mp3? Or will to recognise that it is being asked to convert to the same and therefore ignore the file format part?
As for the sample rate conversion itself, I see two options...
1. On the mp3 encoder there is an Advanced button, and within there is a drop down menu for Frequency. It is currently defaulted to "[as source]". But there is an option here to choose 44.1.
2. Or should I leave the above on "[as source]" and instead use the Resample dsp?
Many thanks
Max
