FLAC to MP3 640kbps and keeping ID3v2 tags.

Hi all, long time user, first time poster.

I have a collection of FLAC files that I would like to convert to 640kbps MP3, so I can play them in my truck. But the deck in my truck needs the ID3v2 tags to play the files. I've gone into the control panel, and changed to each type of tag writing (UTF-8, 16, and ANSI). So my question is this, does PowerAmp 16.1 write tags to such high bitrate MP3's, or am I doing something wrong, missing a step or something completely? HELP!

Standard mp3 files can only go upto 320kbps, if you choose freeformat and a higher bitrate, many players will not play those files.
