Error no encoder specified

Hi, looking for some advice please.
I bought the reference version a few days ago and I keep getting this error with the musicconverter. I've tried reinstalling and also running as administrator but neither worked. I'm not technically minded and need some guidance on how to get around this. I'm running Windows 7 pro on a think pad and using McAfee for security.

Change the encoder to wave, then change back to flac. This issue is fixed in R16.2 which is in the testing section.
