Write Audio CD from FLAC: files too large

If I try to convert a flac file to cd format using dBpoweramp CDWriter or Converter, reported time per track is greatly inflated. A 4:38 minute file gets bloated to 14:49 according to the status bar at the bottom. If I try to convert all 12 album tracks, I get a 195% used and an overburn warning before I start to burn the CD.
If I just go ahead and burn the CD, it appears to burn correctly, but all the overburn warnings are a bit disconcerting.

    Thoughts? Bug?

CDWriter is end of life for years and no longer supported. There are good and free alternatives like CDBurnXP.

Ah, did not realize it was EOL. Thanks.
