I tried doing them seperately but it didn't work. I realized I'm forced to do an actual conversion to have replaygain (apply) do something, which is fine I just made them all AIFFs anyway..
yes, because with RG (apply) you are changing the actual audio stream, so the audio has to be rewritten to something (AIFF, FLAC, WAV, etc)
