newbie to flac purchasing/cd ripping...is dbpoweramp all i need...

hi guys..newbie here to cd ripping/flac purchases so kindly bear with me please.

just a few moments ago I purchased 2 flac recordings from 7 digital.

    here is my situation:
have a windows laptop...will rips cds to it and/or purchase flac downloads.
also have an ipod touch 6 that stores my music for portable
(using it with dragonfly red or chord mojo)
i'm just about to purchase the program...but i also see there is an itunes version as well.
would i need both or just one? i do also have itunes on my ipod touch that i use with the onkyo hifi app.

just want to know if dbpoweramp R16 is all i need.

    thanks!

Norton Antivirus has removed "core converter.exe". Says it is unsafe. I can no longer rip CDs. What gives? What should I do? Does anyone else have this problem?

        There is no iTunes version.

dBpoweramp Music Converter is essentially a CD ripping, audio file format conversion program.

You can download the trial to test it does what you need, before purchasing.

I think he mixes up iTunes and PerfectTunes.

makes sense. (and for OP, you only need dbpa for ripping and converting. But I find PerfectTunes very useful as well for managing my digital library. I recall that there is a discount if one buys both at the same time. Both programs very useful!)
