Hello guys since the 15 version of the program, when I right click on an audio file to check the tagging through the properties option, it shows wrong tags. I use another program for tagging which has been loyal all these years. All new tags appear in windows and other programs, only the dbpoweramp property sheet shows the old tags that have been wiped clean and changed. Any ideas? I am on win10 x64. Thanks in advance

Re: Property sheet "Audio Properties" Page DBpoweramp 16.1
It is not possible for the program to remember tags for files you have changed with another program, so you must have multiple tag types in the files, and you are changing one tag type and dbpoweramp is showing the other tag type. Visit codec central and install 'ID Tag update' then convert your files to this codec and the tags will be rewritten, exactly to the type you have set on the advanced codec settings page in dBpoweramp control centre. -

I not know any program which will allow the choosing of tags based on type.Comment

Hi Guys,
I am having the same problem since upgrading to 16.1. No audio properties, just the standard "Windows" tabs!
All the Windows Explorer integration boxes are ticked, and the advanced options also: screenshots attached:
Any ideas? My OS is Win7 x64 or Win8.1 x64 or Windows Server 2012R2, all used to work with v14? Please advise...
Thanks

For which file type? and on all 3 of your OS?
Try creating a flac file, or wave, or mp3, see if the tabs work on them.
Try uninstalling dBpoweramp, full restart of Windows and a reinstall.Comment
