I would like to take 24 bit 44.1kHz WAV files and upsample to 88.2kHz, but do not see this option and why isn't there one?
Here is some additional information.
The system is Windows 10 using an ASIO XMOS device to a EMM Labs DAC 6e. The EMM takes 44.1kHz, 88.2kHz, 48kHz and 96kHz. The ASIO XMOS device must be configured within Windows Sounds as either 16 bit 44.1kHz or 24 bit 88.2kHz or the EMM will not lock onto the signal.
I have maximized the ASIO XMOS device volume within Windows Sounds, however when using another DAC I notice additional clarity with the playback of these files when setting Windows Sounds > ASIO XMOS device > Properties > Advanced to 24 bit 44.1kHz. This does not work for the EMM, which must be set as 16 bit 44.1kHz.
While I understand that the files may be converted from 24 bit 44.1kHz to 24 bit 96kHz and it seems odd that dBpoweramp does not list 88.2kHz, especially since it is referenced in Release 6.
Cheers!
