Silence gap in the middle of the song error

    Hi,

I'm trying to rip Fugees (Refugee Camp) Killing me Sofly song.
I rip to FLAC and have secure ripping in the options. but at 1:10 I get half a second silence. I have tried With a drifferent drive and different FLAC player and it still has the gap (tried restart and several ripping attempts).
The CD is ok when I play the song from the CD. I have ripped the song With Exact Audio CD and there is no such gap in the middle of the song.
    Does anybody have a solution?

    Try ripping to wave.

Which version of dBpoweramp are you using?

Does AccurateRip verify the rip? if you have c2 pointers enabled, switch off.

Ripping to wav is ok and there is no gap should I convert this file to FLAC?
The risk of not finding out what the problem is that I could have multiple CDs With same problem.

      I'm Using Version R16

AccurateRip verifies the rip, and I had c2 pointers turned off.

This is not the first rip With same silence gap. Scissor Sisters - Comfortably numb has the same problem.

I found out what the problem was or I think it's a bug within the program?
When I choose lossless encoding: ''uncompressed'' the gap is present in the song, but when I choose ''Level 5'' or what ever Level the gap is not there.

        Can someone please check this?

It is likely your player is not able to playback FLAC uncompressed correctly, you can use dBpoweramp to convert the FLAC file to Test Conversion, if there were errors dBpoweramp would say at the end.

Yes, that is correct. VLC and winamp , doesn't support uncompressed fully?

            Thanks for the help, ))))))
