    Upconvert Bitrate?

Just learned about dBpoweramp after doing lots of internet searches, and I'm hoping this is the product I'm looking for.

I have a pretty large iTunes library and recently noticed that not all of my songs are syncing to all my devices. Finally discovered that some of the songs are at a bitrate lower than 96kbps (most are at 94 or 64). Those songs are flagged in iTunes as not eligible to be synced via iCloud. I'm looking for a way, preferably via a batch mode if possible, to "upconvert" those songs to 96kbps so they will sync to that cloud.

Will the Music Converter do this? Would there be any noticeable loss in quality?

    Thanks

Using dBpoweramp Batch Convert, you can sort files by bitrate, which would allow easier selection of the files you wish to convert.

You could try installing the trial version. Then on a small selection of files, "upconvert" and listen to the results.

dBpoweramp R16 (in beta testing) has the Conditional encode DSP Effect, you can tell it a bitrate to skip files above.
