First timer poster here!
I'm about start ripping CD's using dBpoweramp - using a Mac Mini with a Samsung SE-208 Portable DVD Writer (probably ripping to AIFF). I can't find any reference to C2 error detection on this little Samsung. Do I need a more sophisticated CD reader? This is the unit...
As referenced on the dBpoweramp website...
"C2 error pointers: a feature of some (not all) CD drives to report to a ripping program that the last read block contained errors"
Any pointers most welcome as certainly don't want to start ripping in inadequate hardware!
