I've used dBpoweramp for years and have converted loads of music files without a hitch. Yesterday, I discovered a set of wma files I wanted to convert (because my new Samsung Galaxy won't play wma - the old one did). Fire up dBpoweramp as usual and got Error: Unable to load decoder for file type ".wma", codec not installed? visit Codec Central". Did that and it says .wma comes with dBPoweramp Reference. I've got 16.6 Registered. It used to convert .wma but now it doesn't and I can't see anyway to add it. Looking at some similar posts, I uninstalled dBpoweramp, rebooted Windows 11 Pro, fresh download of dBpoweramp, reinstalled and still no wma. Not just for conversion but also if you wave mouse over other music files dBpoweramp properties comes up as usual, but not for .wma. I looked for the Windows Media dll but it's not there.

Any ideas? Thanks, Mike
