Migrate ALAC files created in Itunes

I just purchased a new IMac running OS Tahoe 26. It comes with Apple Music but no ITunes.

question: can I migrate my substantial alac library to the new iMac using dbpoweramp? Can I continue to put music on my iPhone and iPod using dbpoweramp like I did with iTunes?

I would like to continue ripping cds and maintaining a library of owned, physical alac music.

    thank you

The issue is, iTunes ripped tracks do not contain metadata (ID Tags), they are kept only in iTunes.

You need to search for methods to pull those tags from iTunes into the files, which dBpoweramp cannot do.

Once your metadata is sorted (google how to embed metadata from itunes, several options), i use TUNEFUSION, A DBPOWERAMP related product to transfer my files to my iphone and ipad. Works well.
