Can't convert AIFF files to AAC

I received 24-bit, 48 kHz AIFF files (created in Logic Pro) and decided to convert them to AAC format. I opened dBpoweramp Music Converter and was surprised that I can't open iCloud drive from within the app where the files were stored. Secondly, when I drag-and-dropped files on the the app's icon, app could not convert them.

    Error converting to Apple AAC, '~/Library/Mobile Documents/com~apple~CloudDocs/Documents/Mob. apps/Music/Gala versijas/3 Gloria Patri [liturgs].aiff' to '/Users/Guntis/Desktop/3 Gloria Patri [liturgs].m4a'
Error - file has compressed audio (not supported). [PrepareToDecodeAudio]
Error converting to Apple AAC, '~/Library/Mobile

Is AIFF format not supported or something else isn't working?

The format is AIFC which is compressed AIFF, that is not supported sorry as there are many sub-formats for AIFC. some depend on the program which created it.
