This might already be possible using the [ID Tag Update] converter, but I'm not smart enough to figure it out!
When adding tags to my FLAC files, the vast majority can be populated once at the Album level via "All Files" in the Tag Editor.
Once I've entered the Artist, Album, Year, Genre, Release Type and Disc (e.g. Disc "1/1") in one go at the Album level, I then need to enter the Track Name, Track Number and Track Count at the individual track level. To save a little bit of time, could an option be added to populate Track Number and Track Count for all selected files?
e.g. If I select 20 files in Mac OS Finder and then "Edit Tags with dBpoweramp", can I click a menu option to enter "1/20", "2/20"...."20/20" into the Track tag for each file, in the alphabetical order they appear in the Finder?
I have experimented with the [ID Tag Update] converter, but I can't figure out how to get it to only populate the Track Number/Track Count tag, how to calculate the Track Count, and how to parse it all when file naming conventions for the files are inconsistent depending on where I've purchased the album from (usually Bandcamp, occasionally Qobuz).
No worries if this isn't possible - just wanted to throw the idea out there in case anyone else would also find it useful?
