Hello, since the encoder is passing commands to afconvert, I was wondering if it'd be possible to have a Sound Check checkbox that would add --soundcheck-generate to utilize the native version instead of the ReplayGain iTunes track normalization? Or an advanced options button for it to hide in or with an additional CLI options box like the MP3 one for whoever to do so themselves along with anything else obscure?
I've been battling with the iOS sound check option not functioning correctly during playback on my speaker at work or headphones, and using the afconvert/Music analyzer was my go to option to try when files don't work properly but dealing with tagging afterwards isn't ideal. The values that --soundcheck-generate, Music app/iTunes, and dBp Replaygain iTunes Track Normalization aren't written the same, ReplayGain values are doubles when it officially isn't written that way. That's why I'm kind of wondering if ReplayGain analysis is based on an older style that doesn't work as well anymore? Afinfo shows loudness parameters for files that used --soundcheck-generate whereas the ReplayGain files doesn't. Not sure if that has anything to do with my issue, but figured I'd bring it up.
