Metadata no carrying across

Hi all I am trialling a few audio converter programs before buying. Just installed today release 2025-07-14.

I've just tried converting some .cda files to .mp3
Unlike some programs I've tried this doesn't appear to have pulled across the metadata for track titles, artist, etc.


1. What settings might I be missing?
2. Is there a way I can pull in the metadata without having to re-encode the whole track?

I have just noted that its now offering an update to vers 2025-07-21 which I'll do but I somehow doubt this particular error would have been resolved during that brief window, but perhaps someone here would know.

and allowed those programs in Windows Defender

What do you mean with "converting some .cda files to .mp3"? I'm not sure that you completely understand the tool and the workflow.

.cda are virtual files, you would not convert them, instead run CD Ripper.
