Converting AAC to MP3

I have a boatload of files that were ripped into .aac format for a Panasonic player. I just got a NOMAD MuVO and learned that it will not read .aac files (bummer!). I tried using t he dbpower converter but it will not recognize the .aac format. Is there an add on for this program or another converter that would solve my problem?
