    Error no encoder specified.

    I have dBpoweramp installed on two computers (family pack) both running windows 7. On one computer it works perfectly, but on the other it always comes up with the following error:

    Error converting to , 'E:\FLAC\Queen\A Night at the Odeon\01-Now I'm Here (Live At The Hammersmith Odeon, London _ December 1975).flac' to 'E:\FLAC\Queen\A Night at the Odeon\01-Now I'm Here (Live At The Hammersmith Odeon, London _ December 1975)'
    Error no encoder specified. [dBCoreConverter::ParseCommandLine]

    Any ideas how to remedy?

    It means that dBpoweramp is not able to write to the temporary folder, either security settings, or security software.

      I had this issue as well. I think there may be a bug in dbpoweramp.

      FIX : Convert any file to any format other than FLAC. Afterwards FLAC conversions will run without issue.

      Details:
      To reproduce:
      1. Install dbpoweramp for the first time
      2. Start the converter
      3. Set conversion to output FLAC
      4. Error reported above should be displayed

      To workaround:
      1. Set the output to be any other file format - mp3, wav, aac etc
      2. Run the converter
      3. Set the output back to FLAC
      4. Run the converter a second time, no error is displayed.

      Hope this helps.
