Issue whith 16bit flac which converts to 32bit aac

Hi! I used to convert cd quality FLAC to 256kbps AAC using the dbpoweramp converter, when using on my player (FiiO M11 Plus) it shows 16bit but somehow it seems like now always shows 32bit using the same converting method? Is some kind of bug or error? Even forcing the DSP downsample shows the same 32bit after converting. Can someone help me? Thank you!

AAC does not have a bit depth, it is the player (decoder) which decides what to decode it as. Same for mp3, every mp3 could be decoded to 16, 24 or 32 bit.
