Personal email address in ENGINEER meta data field !

I've just noticed that my personal email address is in the ENGINEER meta data field!
How do i stop this being encoded into my files.
    How do I remove this.
This is probably illegal as it breaks privacy laws in the UK.

There are plenty of standard fields for mp3, FLAC, and other formats. I don't recall ever seeing one with the ENGINEER label. I would look at your ripping software to see if you have something set up to automatically write this information. Especially since it is your personal email address I can't see how this would come from any 3rd party source.

That field is present in the files that have been captured from Vinyl and also files I've bought online, then converted to flac using dbpoweramp. After looking at my workflow, its magix Soundforge that is creating that field in the master file. Looks like to need to kick them for adding my email to the files.

and easy enough to just do a batch delete of that particular ENGINEER metadata field from all your files.
