    m4a FDK (AAC) Encoder [64 bits]

    Hi Guys,
    I use UCheck to find updates to software and I get this: Version: Release 6 (FDK v0.1.6 & v0.63) -> 7.2.0.0 where can I find the update install file?

    Also these are the other codeC's I currently have installed, I did this many years ago and just keep using the same one's.

    dBpoweramp-encoder-helix --> Details Date modfied 2/22/2013 10:45 AM

    I'm no expert by any means can anyone tell me if I should be using anything different, should I not be using certain one's etc. etc.

    Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated,

    The FDK encoder is only updated through dBpoweramp updates for last 10 years.

      Well that's not really answering my questions, should I be using anything different, should I not be using certain one's etc. etc. And how do I actually do the update through dBpoweramp?

        You did not ask if should use anything different, there are two choices:

        QAAC (iTunes as the encoder), or FDK. You have older versions, not a huge amount would have changed in that time as far as quality.

        You need the latest version of dBpoweramp to get the latest versions, upgrade to R2025 reference if want to upgrade the codec.
