    Information converting to Aiff, 'H:\c Carole King\10 Carole King - Smackwater Jack.aiff' to 'D:\new india collection convert\ - -\ - - 10 Carole King - Smackwater Jack.aif'
Warning Chunk is out of AIFF area (but still inside file). [clAIFFHandler::ScanFile]

It means what ever wrote the AIFF file did not follow the specifications and the file is not 100% correct, but it should be ok

i am converting the file with the dBpower Music Converter or the Batch Converter.

is there a posibility, this is happening due to me using a Repay Gain iTunes setting ???

          thanks Mr Spoon,
i really don't know what i'm doing wrong.
for this CD, which is ripped in Flac, when i convert, most of the tracks re converted ok, the rest ( as per the list on the report attached) are saved in a folder named "- -"
this phenomenon doesnt happen to all, most are done 100%

Your file was not ripping a cd, it was converting existing AIFF files

No, it is the creation of AIFF files, convert them to FLAC, correctly tag them and run them through PerfectTUNES 'AccurateRip' to see if it can verify the audio, it is can then they are 100% correct.
