Replay Gain Adjustments after tag is written

    Hello,

I'm using PerfectTune's ReplayGain 128 LUF -18 to level a number of mixed tracks. I processed a few albums and noticed that the volume was too low. So, I went into the settings and adjusted the LUF -18 to -14. I ran the albums again and the tag numbers didn't change. When I ran the albums the RG came up with no settings were missing, I cleared cache and ran again with the same results. The question is can the settings be changed after processing RG or are they fixed. If changes can be made, please tell me how? I really don't want to edit each tag.

    Thank you for your time.

Use the tag editor and batch delete the replaygain tags.

So, the settings are fixed... Thank you very much, and the only way to change them is to delete them. Can The deleting and RG be done in one run?

          Thank you.

One more question and duplicates. I want to do a massive batch of duplicates but, I'm concerned with deleting songs in separate albums. For example, I have songs in the original debut albums and the greatest hits albums. Given the size of the run, I don't think I could find them all if DUP was to mark them for deletion. In this case, will DUP mark them for deletion?

          Thank you

De-Dup deletes tracks individually when you click Remove, to ensure the right file is removed.

So mass delete will remove one of the tracks in a situation where the song appears in two different albums ?

I ran the dup and got 22k duplicates. Is there a way to save the track in different albums other than one be one editing?

New problem, I'm using the mass delete function one folder at a time. After the files are sorted but DUP I try to use mass delete the found file. I see the files on the mass delete page and click on delete and the warning comes up I click ok, and it looks like they are getting detected then a popup saying; '"There are files which could not be deleted, check your user account has deletion permissions." How do I get the files deleted? I check everything and founds no answers.

If they cannot be deleted then the message is right, they are either read only or your user account does not have delete permission

P.S. The file can be deleted within Windows Explore One By One.
