When converting a lot of files, everything seems to come to a stop

Hello - When I'm converting a lot of FLAC's to MP3's, It gets to a point where everything seems to just stop. You can see below what I'm talking about. I have 32 cores and as you can see here, at least 16 are still writing tags. It will be like this for many seconds and then one or two threads will kick back in. Is there a setting I might be missing? Something I can do to keep these cores converting?

    Thank you

Choose a local drive to encode to, it is likely you are using a network share and it cannot handle so many writes at the same time.

This happens to my machine when I'm running the Volume Normalize DSP on several files at once. My CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5900X, so it runs 24 conversions at a time. I have only SSDs, so it's not just the drive speed that makes it freeze like this. Just give it a bit and it will pull through.

Thanks guys. It is a local drive and I do have the normalize DSP option enabled. I also have an AMD; the 7950X3D.
