dB renew registration not completing

Normally when installing and upgrading dBpoweramp any changes in licences or updates will be applied automatically, however sometimes it requires manual input of the order number to update the control centre. Normally Control Centre would display: However if the display shows the incorrect number of days remaining, or:

Thanks for the reply. Followed your instructions. Installed again, and again notice reads: updates expired - renew. I HAVE renewed.

What next?

Not need to install, click where it says Updates Expired and type the new order number in.

So, it turns out the biggest obstacle to a solution for this issue was me.
