new relase of dBPowerAMP is slower??

HI EVERYONE!

With dbPowerAMP relase 5 compress much faster then relase 9
I'm using Lame encoder VBR 128kbps-192kbps, stereo, 41000Hz.
Time to compres wav file of 40Mb to mp3 with relase 5 is 56.sec on my computer and with relase9 is 96sec.

The Lame codec produces higher quality files, but like you said it is slower. You can copy an older version over the newer version, search your hard disc for lame_enc.dll
