Music Converter [k_bitrate] tag showing uncompressed kbps (320kpbs = 1411 kpbs)

I am wanting to add the [k_bitrate] tag to my file name; however when I convert to a CBR 320 kbps, the [k_bitrate] tag is showing 1411 kbps instead. If I look at the file in the windows info pop up or vlc player it shows 320 kbps. Am I doing something wrong or is this intentional?

Manually type 320kbps in the naming, k_bitrate refers to the source file bitrate not encoder bitrate, as for vbr encoders this cannot be known before encoding.

      Thanks Spoon,

Quick question, so when I rip a FLAC using MP3 V0 highest setting I'm getting the below properties; I would think the Bit Rate would be above 192 kbps at a minimal. Obviously since its variable it's based on file size etc..but is this considered a V0 rip?

Another question is the "preserve all frequencies" option; if I want to make the highest quality and as close to the original FLAC should I select this option?

Lame decides how much bit rate is needed based on the complexity of the audio, if you want above a certain amount use ABR
