    qaac encoder

Music Converter has a qaac encoder. It seems this encoder requires iTunes to be installed.
iTunes has been discontinued by Apple. How can I use qaac now?

Plenty of sites offering old iTunes installs

All well, I had forgotten about the licensing issues regarding qaac. Found and installed the latest version of iTunes (which is still being updated officially on a regular basis).
      Thanks.

I am facing still problems with with the QAAC encodcer, whenever I select the "m4a QAAC (ITUNES)" encoder my conversions fail with "Error writing audio data[clEncoder::EncodeBlock]" in the error log. It works fine with all other encoders, including "m4a FDK (AAC)"
I did install Itunes through the installer file you can get from the Windows store and as well the m4a QAAC (iTunes) Encoder Release 3. I also have the new Apple Music and device manager apps installed.

Any advice how I can get the QAAC encoder to work again?

You have to install the non-windows store version of iTunes.
